Here's a few pics of things we've been up too. I have a million more but this will have to do for now. I think I take way too many pictures but I just am so amazed everyday by my kids and I love taking pics of them.

Conor put together this rock collection and presented it in front of everyone at his pack meeting. We were amazed at how comfortable he was speaking in front of so many people. He has now earned his Bobcat and a bicycling belt loop. He is loving scouts! We forgot to take a pic of him pinning my mom pin on at the pack meeting so we took one at home, as you can tell by the sign. haha. Of course he already has all of his fishing stuff signed off. Thanks Tom. Can you tell we're excited about scouts.

This is our Hannah Montana fan dancing to her favorite music. She kept her Hannah Montana pinata guitar from her bday party last year and likes to rock out with it. She is seriously crazy and we all know were she gets that from..................

Sweet

So I should be mopping my floors and putting the sheets back on the kids beds that I washed yesterday but instead I'm creating a blog post. Oh well at least our memories will be well documented right?

Kindy and I had a booth in a craft boutique a few weeks ago. Kortney and Jhett were in town too and it just happened to be Kya's last soccer game so they were able to be there for it. I didn't do to well taking pictures that weekend but I did get some cute ones of Briley with my kids.

Crew badly wanted to pull Bri's piggy tails. She kept telling him, "go way!" It was so dang cute!
She went to Kya to be protected from the Crew monster. Also very cute.
These two love being girly.

The trophy is always Kya's favorite part of soccer. This one was cute. It was a statue of a girl soccer player with a pony tail. It totally looked like Kya but of course it broke the same day. When you're a kid, your trophy goes everywhere with you for the first few days after you are awarded it. For Kya this meant to the park, down the slide, to Walmart, at the dinner table, by her side all day. We were not at all surprised when it broke. It's not her first trophy to break the first day she had it and we're pretty sure it won't be the last. *also just to gross everyone out......notice the black frosting on that soccer cupcake? well imagine how it looked after being digested. Yep same color and yep food coloring dyes water too.freaked us out for a minute until we remembered the cupcake.*

Happy Mothers Day!

I love being a mom! I always say I have my dream job. All I ever wanted to be was a mom. When I was in like 4th grade we were told to write about the career we wanted when we were grown. I wanted to write about being a mom. My teacher informed me that it was not a career, but my parents assured me that it was a noble and great desire. I now have my dream job and it has proven to be very lucrative in ways much more rewarding than money. It has also proven to be just as challenging as any other career might be. Education and experience have definately been required for my job. The education I've been able to get has prepared me for my job in a lot of ways. (especially that nutrition class I took at college. I love being able to provide a nutritious diet for my family and understand what foods help our bodies perform best.) It's a lot of work trying to provide a good balance of wholesome activity and diet for a family all while attending to all of their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. I'm grateful for all the knowledge I had before I became a wife and mother and for all that I have learned since. I learn more everyday from and am constantly amazed at all the great mothers I know. I am so grateful to have been born into a wonderful family and belong to a wonderful church whom both taught me that my dream job would be an influential and powerful career to persue. I love what our church teaches about the value of women and influence of mothers. I keep a copy of Julie B. Becks talk, Mothers Who Know, in my room so I can read it often. That school teacher was completely wrong about Mother not being a good career to write about. I think I could write her an impressive essay now! I feel humbled, honored, loved and immensely blessed by the job that Heavenly Father has trusted me with and it is one of my greatest desires to perform well and do a good job at it. I am so blessed to have been given such an amazing example to follow of what a great mother is like. I love you mom!

Kya lost her first tooth!

Kya has been freating about loosing her first tooth while at school because she did not want to go to the nurse's office. So she worked and worked on it while at home. So as it turns out, today was field day at school and Crew and I got to join her for a picnic. after we ate she said, "my tooth just popped out!" She said she was ok with it coming at out school since I was there and could take her to the nurse's office. How perfect was that timing. Yeah! Kya!!

This is what happens at our house if you won't hold still for your haircut. Mama gives you a good long lasting one. We love how much he looks like Conor when he was little. Crew keeps touching his head and saying, "COOOOOOL." Of course he's in his highchair where he likes to spend most of his time. We have no idea how this kid fits all the food he eats into his little body.
