Kissable

Here's what I got to wake up to this morning. It's hard to not just kiss on that sweet face but it would wake him up. When Tom is home in the mornings on the weekends he does not resist and does kiss him which eventually wakes him up. I love to watch our babies sleep. I remember when I first had Conor and he was such a terrible sleeper and I would feel desperate for sleep and desperate for him to not sleep with us. I would roll over in the morning and look at his sweet face and think, oh yeah thats why I do this, it is so worth it! None of our other kids have slept with us and have been amazing sleepers but occasionally after an early morning feeding I'll keep them in bed with us because it is such a sweet time. How will I ever want to be done doing this. I wish I had tons of energy(like Crew) and could stay young forever so I could always have a sweet little baby to wake up to in the morning.

Halloween 2011

My alien, witch,Buzz Lightyear($1.00 at a yard sale this summer! the costume, not the kid) and baby monkey had lots of fun at school parties, ward party, friend party and hip hop dance class party. We were busy little trick or treaters this year. So much fun!

Our little monkey is a thumb sucker. We think it's so cute!

At our ward party Conor and Crew did the donut from a string contest. It was so funny! Crew could not get a bite. Not from lack of trying! Eventually I held the string for him so the poor kid could finally get a bite but not before getting some cute pics of his efforts.

Totally worth it!

Kya and Crew trick or treating at our trunk during the ward party.

We look forward to our halloween ward party every year it is always tons of fun. This year we had a chili cookoff and cinnamon rolls, games and then a trunk or treat. We have tons of kids in our ward so the parties are always a blast.

Tom and I took turns taking the kids trick or treating and handing out candy at our house. We also all went together for a while. Tom was embarrassed to take the baby up to the doors for candy, but I was not.(also I am not embarrassed that I am only wearing one earring.) p.s. I should not have shared Tafts candy with Tom.

We floated between classrooms again this year for Conor and Kya's Halloween parties. Luckily this year their classrooms are across the hall from each other.

Crew walked with Kya in the costume parade.

Such a sweet big bro.

Tafter Woo

We call him our little"Tafter Woo". It's so funny sometimes when Crew refers to him as this in serious context. It sounds like we named him that. Anyway he will be 5 months old soon and this is one my favorite pics of him at 4 months. Thought I'd post it for our family to see how he's growing. He is super smiley. He even can't help himself and smiles when he's sad. It cracks us up. He is such a sweet guy we enjoy every second of him!

Bowling

Flashback to when I was pregnant with Taft. The kids all filled up their bean jars for chores, good behavior, peeing on the toilet and practicing piano. So to celebrate their awesomness we went bowling. I told Tom that I think people may have thought I was trying to smuggle a bowling ball under my shirt.

Crazy Hair Day

The kids were way excited about crazy hair day at school. Kya wanted her hair to be like Cindy Lou Who from, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Conor wanted 3 mohawks. We thought he looked like the mayor from the Grinch.

Kya got an award for her hair and A LOT of attention. She loved it.

Tub Tub Time!

Crew and Taft's first bath together. Super fun!

Taft's first "Hawk." It's barely there.....look hard..... I promise it's there!
How 'bout now?
Daddy after tub time. haha! don't be fooled. He's very much enjoying our house full of energetic little munchkins. Although I have to agree it can be exhausting sometimes.

Faces

These are the sweet faces we get to wake up to every morning. Life is good! Tom wanted a picture of all 4 of his kids to have on his desk at work so we sat them down before church with a candy bribe of course. I thought we did pretty good.

Our sweet little Taft smiles constantly these days. All you have to do is walk by him or just look at him and he'll smile, coo and laugh at you. It's heavenly with him around.

Tom and Crew's fish

Tom had a monday off in April for some reason, I can't remember why, but the kids didn't have school off. So Tom took Crew out fishing and mama stayed home to get some things done around the house. They found a new fishing spot and brought back dinner! Tom grilled them and Crew was so proud that he had provided dinner. What a great little provider!

Spring Break 2011: Roosevelt Lake

Almost every spring my parents rent a house (now 2 to fit us all) at Roosevelt lake. It's always so relaxing and fun. We all go away thinking, "man I wish we could just live there." Thanks Grammy and Papa for the great time, awesome memories, and most importantly the open tab on ice cream!

Ice Cream!!!

Games and Crafts
Fishing and fishing and more fishing.

Crew found one of the few areas of dirt. He sat there for a long time just loving that dirt. Leave it to a 2 year old boy to find that. I love that he was contained in one spot for so long!

Papa, thanks for instilling the love of fishing in all of us.

I think this is the first year noone saw a rattle snake. We've got some cool stories. But don't worry we saw a bull snake instead.

This cardinal was very intrigued with us. He keeped perching on our backyard fence and the nearby tree. I wish I'd gotten a better picture. He was beautiful!
I love this pic of Briston and Crew. Crew was blowing bubbles for him.

My fishermen!

Kya is such a fun cousin!
This lady worked there and she apparently likes to rescue these little baby bunnies so they don't get eaten by snakes. The poor starving snakes! Anyway it did make for some cute pics of the kids petting them. Crew stuck around for a long time, very intriqued with the little fur ball.

Crew with his Grammy and Papa.

(I found these next four pictures on Tom's camera. He has his own camera that he likes to take with him on his hunting and fishing adventures. I'm thinkin he's a better photographer than me. I love the pictures he was able to capture from the boat. He's hired!)
