Black River 2010

So even though we've moved to a different state Tom decided that he still wants to take his annual Black River trip. He doesn't care wether people go with him or if he goes alone. I'm always glad when someone decides to go with him cause it's in the middle of nowhere and he hikes miles upstream further and further from civilization and he always see's bears. He and Kaelsy saw a mama and 3 cubs one year. Cool, but also scary. But we all know that the scarier it is the more Tom enjoys it. Crazy boy! Thanks for going this year Pratt so if there was a bear problem you could have distracted it while Tom ran for help. ha ha!

Lucky Daddy!

Is Tom not the luckiest guy ever?!
So many helpers every time he does anything. We just miss him so much when he's at work that when he gets home we follow him around like little ducklings.

Hats and Cookies

I found this post from back in March that I never posted. I decided to post it now so It'll be in my blog book.

The boys makin' cookies.

Gotta sample the dough!

Kya and I modeling our matching hats made by our talented Aunt Joanne.

I found Crew like this in Kya's room the next day.
Doesn't he look like an intimidating pirate with a patch?

RV for the 4th

Tom talked me into driving down to RV for the 4th. Don't get me wrong I love hangin' out with my family. It's just that 11 hours of driving each way did not sound fun to me. So Tom said," the kids and I are going with or without you." Although I knew my family would love for Tom and the kids to come visit them I decided they'd think it was wierd if I didn't come too. Am I a bum or what?! So I tagged along and I'm glad I did. It was so fun! We stopped at Kindy's on the way. She made me an amazing Birthday dinner since my birthday was just a few days before. (By the way it was my golden bday 29 on the 29th!) Thanks Kindy you are amazing!
She even made perfect little toddler size cupcakes!

Auntie Kortney gave Kya this 3D sidewalk chalk for her Bday.

Crew tickling that sweet little Jhett boy.

Tom took a turn helping my dad with his sideing he's been working on. But mostly he went fishing.
Tom and Conor went out on the boat with Jeff and Conor caught 2 trout. He was so proud that he was the only one to catch anything until the end when Tom finally caught one. I think we may have some competitve fishermen on our hands.

Waiting for the parade to start.

Tom is the cool parent and sits on the curb with the kids to catch candy.
I like to sit here. I'm still cool though.

Grandpa Hank throwing candy to Jhett. So cute!

I think Crew felt safe in his Daddy's lap.

Lucky me with 2 handsome dude's!

Tom grilled Conor's trout and everyone got a little sample.

Yes we are professional ice cream makers.
And professional eaters.
oh and pro. pyro's.

Crew climbed up the walker to say,"bye," to Jhett.

Crew looks so big next to his 2 cousins who are only about a year younger than him.

Kya loves hanging out in the fort that my cousins made at my parents house.

I think Briston and Jhett can't wait for when they are big enough to take Crew down. They will definately owe him.

All the cousins minus Briley. We missed you Bri-Bri. Kya was a bit outnumbered.

I took this pic so Kindy could see how nicely our parents back yard is coming in. So Kindy, are you impressed? I was!

My kids are just like me and my family. We love babies and smother them to death!

Chillin at the park.

Grammy paid the kids to help clean up Papa's mess so they would have money for the candy store.
* And that doesn't even sum it. I need pics from Jeff of the fireworks, hint hint Jeff, and Tom and Pratt went to Black River one of the days we were there but I'll post that later.
