Crew is 2!

We had a great Labor Day last Monday. It was Crew's 2nd birthday. We just hung out and celebrated and enjoyed him all day. It was great he loved it!

Tom asked Crew what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said, "ride quad." So he got an extra long ride. He loves to just sit on the quad in the garage while the other kids ride their bikes.
Crew was making sure Kya and I were making his cakes properly. A few weeks before his birthday I asked him what he wanted his cake to have on it. He said, "two cakes!" I was like ok you want two cakes but what do you want on them? All I could get out of him was, "two cakes." On the morning of his birthday Tom got him out of bed and said, "happy birthday Crew!" Crew imediately responded, "two cakes."


So that is exactly what he got!




He was one happy dude with his two cakes.

Cute Crew quotes:

-If we get hurt he'll come up to us and say, "hurt?....bandaid?.....kiss it?"

-I had a cold sore and Crew got in my face and was like, "oooh owey" he offered me a bandaid and wanted to kiss it better. He was insisting and attacking me trying to kiss it. Gross but sweet!

-Lately when I do something for Crew he says, "cank oou welcome mama"

-If we're in his way he'll say,"coo me Kya"(excuse me)....or mama, daddy or Bubu.

-He'll randomly come up to us and say, "I lu you mama(or daddy)."

-When I say, "no, no Crew don't do that." He'll say, "sawee mama"(this melts my heart and I instantly forgive him).

-If we ask him what a train says he says,"choo, choo." If we point to a train and ask him what it is he says, "car cha-choo."

-He says his prayer exactly the same each time and whenever we say, "who wants to say the prayer?" he raises his hand and says, "MEEEE!" This is how his prayer goes, "Fadder, day, safe, car, Jesus ...Christ, men! If someone else says the prayer when he thinks it should be his turn he glares at them and says, "hey!"

Things we love about Crew:

* He loves to talk on the phone.

* He loves for Tom or I to rock him and sing to him, his favorite songs are, I love you a bushel and a peck, Rock a bye baby, All around the mulberry bush, Hot dog, hot dog and Once there was an airplane(I had to make up words for this one because he kept requesting an airplane song). He also loves the awesome songs I make up for him as I go.

* We call him our vegetarian because he always eats all of his fruits and veggies and begs for more while his meat and pasta type things are still on his plate. Funny boy!

*He loves balls and playing catch and batting and golfing.

* He loves to wrestle with Conor and Kya. He puts his hand up in a Karate type pose and slowly walks towards them and then suddenly attacks.

* Crew is very social and will go up to anyone and want them to hold him and then he'll start telling them all about something.


Life is so sweet with our little Crew in it. He has brought joy too our lives for 2 years now and we're loving it! Happy Birthday sweet boy! we love you!
