Funny Kya

Conor went to school for about an hour on Monday and then came home with a fever. I went to the store to purchase some special get well items for him. I found the cutest little individual ice cream so I got it for him. Well Kya, like her mama, loves miniature things, so she was completely jealous even though I had brought a big carton of ice cream for the rest of us. She went into her room and came out with a dollar and asked Tom to take her to the store so she could buy a little ice cream. He always has a hard time saying no to his little girl so he took her on a "date" to the store, where they purchased the coveted treat and took it to a park to enjoy. sweet story, I know. I love that man!
Later that day Kya saw the pattern for this crown in the Friend (our church magazine for children) and wanted Tom to help her make it for FHE . So again, he could not say no to her sweet little request. He helped her make it and Kya started teasing Crew with it and he got so tickled. It was so sweet. Well sweet until the next morning when Kya wasn't looking and Crew got a hold of the crown and ate/ripped it up. Kya is a good sport though and quickly forgave him.
